Hasegawa kit using kit decals with Aires cockpit and Master Models refuelling probe tip. Lots of scratchbuilt and modified detail including wind vane, empty chaff/flare dispensers, steps, "de-kinked" wings, extended probe and detailed weapons. Was able to get Best Aircraft at IPMS NZ Nats last weekend. I should also mention that this model is dedicated to Lt. Col. Christopher Raible and Sgt. Bradley Atwell from VMA-211, given that the model was finished about the same time that they lost their lives in the terrorist attack on Camp Bastion. Boxtop Finished model Real thing in action In progress here

Paintjob seems kind of uneven on top, but apart from that - a smashing build!
Is that some sort of hair sitting just in front of the AOA-vane in front of the windscreen?

Very Nice.
My oly nitpick would be the radome looks a bit clean in comparison to the rest of the airframe - or is it representing a new component?
