Some of you know this, I had some serious medical issues last year. Modeling and just about everything went on hold for about half the year. I did get these finished. Eduard's F6F-3  Tamiya's A6M5  I've decided to not add aerial wire in the chance. Too fragile in case of a move. Sure hope 2013 is a better year for us all. |

Very nice John!  Your Hellcat made me buy Ed's Hellcat  Zero spoken to me on it's own  - But mine will hug the shelf for a some time  I didn't eclipse your productivity ether, only PZL P24G & Spitfire MkIXc. BTW, looking through the boxes I "discovered" about 4 Fw190D, Ta 154, MC.205, Fiat G.55 and 1 P.47 "in progress". Adding 2 P47D and one CR.42 at the "finishing stage" plus 2 Bf109F and 2 Spitfire at the "advanced stage"... who knows, perhaps this year I will make at least one more??? |

Sorry about the slow acknowledgement. I wasn't ignoring you. I just missed the comment. I'm not yet used to this forum.
I've also got numerous 'in progress' subjects that are waiting in the box. Whose MC,205 and G.55? I'm anxious to see what you do with them now that you've rediscovered them.

Oh, no problem John! Mc.205 is a Italieri kit and G.55 Special Hobby. The second one is giving me plenty of fight. Kit is not that bad but looks much better in the box than really is. It really is an short run kit, plenty of detail is lost once you start to shape it. Also my vacum canopies are crappy with lost detail and introduced scars to the mold.  Italieri MC.202 & 205 are not as crisp as Hasegawa MC.202, so some fine tuning is required. For this one I'm currently practicing smoke rings.  About year ago Mofo alerted that H&S Infinity is on 50% sale (just for a day). I got it, and now it will have to polish my skills  BTW, my year was close to yours. I hate being sick! I hope you are doing good. |
