Worth a look if you're interested in doing your own decal art, or prints, or web design, or... pretty much anything creative. Adobe is giving free licenses to their CS2 applications. Apparently they'd rather give it away for free rather than run the secure servers for authentication. You need to register for an Adobe account (free), and it's old software, but it's still more than powerful enough for modelling purposes. www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html#

Wow! I've worked a lot on CS2 and that will certainly do the trick for me! Downloading at the moment, we'll see if it works on this Mac. I certainly hope so.
(Btw, are you interested in closeup pictures of Backfire with Kitchen or is that a thing of the past?)

IMO, one of the handiest applications there is the full version of Acrobat. Everyone has Acrobat reader, but Acrobat itself is pricey, and it's handy being able to make your own PDFs (and modify existing ones).
And I'm *always* interested in reference pictures. The Kitchen is done (and out? I've lost track...), but I'm hoping to build the kit this year.

Damn, can't get the program to install and I can't find out why. I have a mac. As for reference pics I need your email in PM. Can't post them.
Edit: Found out why. Too new software on the mac. Oh well, I'm a student, guess I can get a discount somewhere.

Don't seem to have to register for any form of account though.....

Well, at last they do something to justify price hike on CS5 and requirement of buying a NEW license not upgrading... For those who can use CS2 - great!
