Amazing how you've managed to give life to a relatively simple paintjob, without going all Spanish on us. Nice.

Can't believe I haven't replied to this! Nice job! What colour blue did you use? I'm doing it as #41 in 1/72 at the moment. There are four schemes I'm aware of in the blue (I'm planning to do them all..) #41 and #99, which are boxed by Hasegawa in 1/48. Lifelike decals also do aftermarket decals in 1/48 and 1/72. There's a third numbered scheme, #76, with decals available from Flying Papas (I'm not convinced of their accuracy - I have read that the registration was white, not gold, for this scheme) and a scheme with no numbers. www.flickr.com/photos/dwhitworth/5546364813/

Thanks for the replies. She managed a 2nd in 1/48 Props at the recent IPMS NZ Nationals. Beaten by a very beautifully built and painted Hasegawa 1/48 Ki46.
For the blue, I used a Gunze acrylic, but unfortunately, the bottle no longer has a label on it. I believe it was H322, but I can confirm it was the blue included in the old Gunze Blue Impulse bottle set of acrylics.
