3 Hour Challenge. Following a conversation on Facebook from a fellow modeller that his SWMBO says he spends more time researching builds than actually building the idea for a speed build challenge was put forward. We were given 3 hours to build anything we wanted to a finished state. Now, obviously mine isn't to competition standard but , and this is the most important thing, it was fun. I also failed as it took me slightly under 4 hours to finish it. The kit is the Tamiya Krupps Protze in 1/48 and I only used 7 different paints on it, not part of the challenge but thats how it worked out. A fun build.

Geeezzzz... And I thought the 24 hour builds were tough! Impressive that you even managed some weathering in that time.

Whose kit is that, Rory?
Incredible job considering the time constraint. (This reads like a put down. Not meant that way.)

Scale? Tamiya does this in 48th and 35th.
Just curious. I would guess 48th due to the time constraint, but would be more impressed if 35th.

It's the 1 /35 kit. I didn't know they did a 1 /48th one!

Any tips on how you built it so quickly? Or has your brother just rubbed off on you?

Very nice model, doesn't look it was made in a hurry.
I don't think I will ever be able to make it in such a short time
