Started this one in 1997. Can't believe it's had a 15+ year gestation. Finished just before Nats. Was able to take 1st in Helicopters - All Scales.
Hasegawa 1/72 kit with lots of scratchbuilt additions and corrections, including hand painting corrections to the Skys decals (after lots of slicing and dicing to get to fit). Each of the TOW launchers has over 50 pieces to get a little fidelity and also used the Master Models brass/etch barrels. New skid supports from brass tube, added all of the IDF/AF specific lumps and bumps. This one was a pleasure to work on start to finish.
