Here is my latest finished build, the 1/48 Williams Bros Ford Flivver. The build was easy, the finish is Xtracolor Duralimin and an old, very old,tin of good old Humbrol 15. Several coats of future were applied to give a good finish prior to decaling. The decals themselves were thin and went on with no problems, much to my surprise. The aircraft was hoped to be the "Model T" of the air , cheep enough to let everyone fly. Its a small kit that builds into a small model as can be seen in the last photo when placed beside my test airframe 1/48 Hs123. What i'd like now is a 1/48 Model T Ford to go with it.

Very sharp looking build. Kinda tempting, actually - I'm really digging all these unusual subjects being posted, lately.

I can honestly say that the hardest part of this kit was getting the engine cylinders lined up correctly on the block as I left mine off until I finished painting then just bunged some thick PVA on the end and jammed them in the holes.
One other thing, when you get the fuselage together, glue a pice of card over the open nose and then sand it to shape, it helps make the front end stronger.

Bloody hell, Rory! My two Flivvers have arrived......and now I gotta find a heap more of their kits to feed my addiction. It's all your fault!
