Couple of things... The board was a bit of a slap-dash setup for (believe it or not) an even smaller group of local modellers. If there's anything you see that needs tweaked, LMK and I'll see what I can do. Not sure if I can directly add a wOOt to the default emoticons, but I'm looking. Otherwise, the features are pretty much the same. Basically, it's Trash Modeller, with a different URL, and two banner ads on the page. I've actually got both groups going simultaneously. There's a discussion section for *just* the local guys, mostly to keep that stuff from bleeding into the main TM discussion (what's new at the LHS, planning get-togethers, etc.) I've set up custom member groups so that ONLY the Calgary guys can see that section. Not trying to establish cliques, and I'm sure everyone will mix okay, it basically just makes my life easier vs. monitoring two different boards. Plus, it's just about doubled TM's membership! One of them even builds tanks, you guys!! I can't transfer any of the content from TM, apart from copy/pasting. If there's stuff you want to save, do it while you still can. If there's anything you want to cross-post, feel free. If you want me to copy/paste some of the old threads, I guess I can do that, too, though it'll take a while. And it would suck... If you DO want to cross-post, the coding should all be the same. Meaning you can just click "modify" on your posts, then copy and paste over here. That would just handle YOUR posts, though, so you can copy your awesome in-progress build, but not all our ooh-ing and ahh-ing about it. For the time being, I've got fairly loose posting restrictions. You've got to register to start a thread, but you can be a guest to reply. You also don't need to be approved to register. I'll probably tighten that in time, based on the number of bots we get. At the very least, I'll phase out guest posting, since it's a bit of a security hole. And just to make it a little more home-ey, I'm updating everyone's post counts.

Actually I think you can make yourself into anything you want. Go to profile>modify profile>personal text. If I had the powers I would have put you up as Catwoman. Much better than being a god. Just so it's said: This is not my forum, but Mike and I agreed I could be a moderator, to share the work.
